The NHL comes off as very bush league after the 3 years of uncertainty in Phoenix. Lots of roller coaster rides and despite the fact it no longer effects Winnipeg, it still is frustrating.
The NHL continues to play games and in the past few days seemed to be telegraphing that the team was going to stay in Glendale with Greg Jamison coming out with strong public statements.
The question is why? Was it the sale to Jamison was indeed close or with the Coyotes doing so well in the playoffs did the NHL need more ammunition to keep the Phoenix fans buying playoff tickets.
Next week May 7-11 in my mind is make or break for Glendale. If a deal isn't ready for the Glendale 7 in my mind it never will be. The NHL won't get stuck owning the Coyotes another season and simply can't wait beyond Mid May to complete a deal with Quebec, even if it's not announced.
